The Revival of Forget Me Nots and Willow Trees

Friday, July 09

By Avery Campbell

A poem for an old, new love.

I think I saw you fall in love with me last night

I think I saw it in your eyes,

As we kissed under that blue hazy June sky.

We fell a part and came back together again,

Hidden deep under the safety of a willow tree.

Not a single other person existed in the world but you and I,

And I think I saw it in your eyes.

The forget me nots littered around us tell a new story now.
